SHALL-WE-SHAG-NOW?
Encounter LAX is housed in the most famous architectural building which lies in the center of the airport, originally designed in 1960 by Paul R. Williams, Pereira & Luckman, and Robert Herrick Carter. It’s a gorgeous structure remnant of The Jetsons but what fewer people know is that it has the grooviest bar/restaurant in town in it. Massive lava lamps decorate the place and while you’re there sipping a cocktail, the spectacular view allows you to toast while jets are taking off and landing in the background.
